Digicomm International HeadquartersEnglewood, COBrinkmann is providing turnkey construction for the new headquarters of Digicomm International, a 250,000 SF warehouse and office suite. The building consists of concrete tilt-up panels with steel joist and deck diaphragm. In addition to the first floor construction, the 12,000 SF of office suites includes a 1,200 SF conference room mezzanine overlooking the warehouse floor. The remaining 238,000 SF of warehouse facility will allow Digicomm to consolidate its Denver operation under one roof. The warehouse design includes 32-foot clear height ceilings for “high pile” storage and maximum efficiency. The warehouse currently has 15 dock doors, but has been designed to accommodate up to 72 dock doors for future expansion or additional tenants. Project completion is scheduled for the end of October, 2007. “I’ve been impressed with Brinkmann’s value engineering and how quickly they were able to mobilize on this project,” said Rob Donzinger, President of Digicomm.
The building core and shell is complete and the roof is water tight, which allowed owner racking of the warehouse to start right on schedule on September 17, 2007. Exterior curtain wall and storefront installation is under way as well as exterior painting. Interior operations are moving right along as well, with framing and MEP rough-ins nearly complete and drywall installation well underway. Interior finishes for the office warehouse commenced the last week of September. The main office package is currently on hold due to some owner modifications and interior finish changes. The sitework is complete with roadway and parking lots paved, and only landscaping to be completed, and all site improvements nearly complete.
