WorldCom Campus

Weldon Springs, MO

WorldCom called on Brinkmann Constructors to deliver this complex fast-track project to consolidate regional operations for the telecommunications giant in metro St. Louis, Mo. The three-building, interconnected complex functions as a national service center focused on post-sale support for customer billing, provisioning, maintenance and repair. Brinkmann employed a number of technological innovations to manage construction and optimize value engineering. Field delays were minimized with Brinkmann?s computer network linkage from its on-site construction trailer to the Dallas architect, developer and structural engineer. State-of-the-art connectivity was achieved with multiple fiber access points into the building and redundant fiber pathways throughout the building. Backup power generators meet critical communications requirements and provide uninterrupted power supply.
